There is a gym in the Jubilee Hills area with a climbing wall...maybe a good place to run into others? We did meet a family with 2 teenage girls who are really into climbing, and getting pretty good. They are being trained by a Japanese guy who (from what I understand...we didn't have opportunity to meet) is a) really good, and b) is trying to spread interest. I think he mostly boulders on his own though, for lack of partners. It is mostly bouldering in the area. And....there is also a Save the Rocks Society....maybe another good place to meet others?
